An American traditional style cabinet construction. Evoke Framed features a face frame on the face of a 1/2″ plywood (furniture board option available) with a 1 1/2″ by 3/4″ solid wood frame. It also features 3″ I-beams on the base cabinets to maximize squareness and strength possible. Shelves are 3/4″ thick and are fully adjustable.
The cabinet doors are hinged to the face frame side which allows the cabinet to offer two types of overlays. This creates versatility when it comes to design, allowing for the very traditional look of our Standard Overlay (Doors and Drawers overlay the face-frame 1/2″ in width and 3/8″ in height) to the more modern design options of our Designer Overlay look. (Overlays the face-frame 1 1/4″ or 3/4″ on top and 1 5/16″ in width).
An European style cabinet construction type, or a box without a frame on the front of the cabinet. An additional feature of the base cabinet is the 4″ wide runners on the top and bottom of the drawer opening for maximum strength and stability. The drawers are made of pre-finished 5/8″ thick solid wood material with Tandem Blumotion guides, a zinc-coated, full extension undermount guide that is smooth and silent and soft-closes when the drawer is two inches from the box.
The doors and drawers are hinged to the walls of the box, which allows for maximum accessibility to the interior of the cabinet that is built 3/4″ thick and can be ordered in plywood or furniture board.
